Before you buy a challenge. Prop firm challenges are paid evaluations, most traders don't pass, and fees are usually not refundable. Funded accounts are simulated and firms can change their rules. Only pay what you can afford to lose, read the firm's full rules first, and check whether paying an overseas firm is allowed where you live.
About Alpha Capital Group: Trustpilot rating hidden (fake reviews removed). 2026 trader reports of payout denials after risk interviews, KYC reversals and 'order book spamming' terminations (third-party, unverified individually). Paused operations briefly in 2024 during the MetaQuotes platform issue (not re-verified).

Our verdict

Alpha Capital Group is a London-based firm founded in 2021 that runs its funded accounts alongside an affiliated broker, ACG Markets. Its gold conditions are reasonable on Pro accounts, but its Trustpilot rating is hidden and 2026 reviews describe payout denials.

Alpha Capital Group was founded in London in late 2021. Its main product is Alpha Pro, a two-step challenge sold with different first-phase targets (6%, 8% or 10%). On the $100K Alpha Pro 10% account, traders need 10% then 5%, with a 5% daily limit and a 10% overall limit. The firm also offers Alpha Swing, which allows weekend holding, and a one-step Alpha One. Funded traders receive up to 80% of profits and can choose payouts every 14 days or on demand, subject to a 40% best-day rule. The firm is linked to ACG Markets, a Seychelles-licensed broker, which gives it more infrastructure than many competitors. For gold, reported leverage is 1:30 on Pro accounts but only 1:9 on Swing and One. News rules are detailed and strict: depending on the account, trades cannot be opened or closed within two to five minutes of high-impact releases, and traders report that stop-loss or take-profit fills inside that window count as violations. A risk interview is required before the first payout. Trustpilot currently hides the firm's rating after removing fake reviews, and 2026 complaints describe denied payouts tied to KYC, order-splitting and interview outcomes.
