Our verdict
Vantage is an Australian-origin CFD broker offering MT4, MT5 and TradingView with a low minimum deposit. Its gold costs are moderate and most international clients are served from Vanuatu.
Vantage began in 2009 (originally as MXT Global and later Vantage FX) and is based in Sydney. The group holds Tier-1 licences from ASIC and the FCA, plus licences in South Africa, the Cayman Islands, Mauritius and Vanuatu. International clients are usually placed with Vantage Global Ltd in Vanuatu, which is lightly regulated and has no compensation scheme. For gold, Vantage offers a Standard STP account with spreads typically from 1.1 pips and no commission, and a Raw ECN account with spreads from zero plus $3 per lot per side. A Pro ECN account lowers the commission for deposits of $10,000 or more. BrokerChooser measured Vantage's gold spread at $0.28 in September 2026, just under its $0.32 market average. Gold leverage is 1:20 for ASIC and FCA retail clients; the offshore figure is described only as varying by account and region. Trading is available on MT4, MT5, TradingView and the Vantage app from 0.01 lots, with a $50 minimum deposit. Swap-free accounts and negative balance protection are offered. BrokerChooser says Vantage does not accept Indian residents, and 'Vantage Markets' is on the RBI Alert List.
